Hi there! My name is Katrielle (pronounced Kay-tree-elle). Welcome to my portfolio. It took me a gosh darn while to figure this WordPress thing out, but here we are!
I’m a recent digital arts graduate seeking any and all creative opportunities. Driven by aesthetics, my heart is washed in love and in fire by 3D enviornments that immerse you just so, by colors that slash together just right, and by turns of phrases that make you wonder. My interests are wide-ranging, but they include animation, writing, and illustration. I even dabble with a bit of music and photography, though I keep those a bit more on the down low… shh!

Animation
With a particular focus on environment design, I love a good pop of color, a surrealist bend, and immersive sound. Some of the software I use to animate are Autodesk Maya, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. But the learning never stops! I’m currently figuring my way around Blender. Next stop: Unreal Engine 5 and Z-Brush.
Design
Nothing beats a well put-together design. A stunning piece of concept art or an advertisement that piques the interest despite all odds. Illustrator and Photoshop are my best friends when it comes to this.
Video
While I’m a bit more green when it comes to video editing, I have a solid understanding of transitions, structure, color grading, and not to mention motion graphics!
Writing
My first love. From fiction to non-fiction, any kind of stringing-together of words is right up my alley! I have professional experience writing articles, blogs, and ghost-writing. Navigate to my publications page to see some of my articles that have been posted on the web.
